Softball Recap: Carolina Academy Comes Up Short

Carolina Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Powdersville Patriots, falling 31-0. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

Carolina Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Powdersville, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Carolina Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Joseph's Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Powdersville, they will challenge Pendleton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
