Mendon had won two straight games and Ryder Gorham did his part to make it three on Monday. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 69-49 margin over the Constantine Falcons with plenty of help from Gorham, who almost dropped a double-double with 33 points and nine steals. The contest was his ninth in a row with at least 16 points.

Owen Gorham was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last nine times he's played.

Mendon's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Constantine, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Mendon will host Bellevue at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Constantine, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Allegan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
