Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Takes a Loss

Tabernacle Christian extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 3-5. They fell 64-52 to the Rockwell Christian School Chargers. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 55-50 to the Chargers when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rockwell Christian School's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Rockwell Christian School to victory were Isaac Starnes and Isaac Horton. Starnes posted 25 points, while Horton scored 21 points. Horton's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 21 points.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tabernacle Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Carolina Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2026. Rockwell Christian School and Southview Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
