Volleyball Recap: Crenshaw Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Crenshaw Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Trinity Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Thursday.

While Crenshaw Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-17.

Crenshaw Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crenshaw Christian Academy will square off against Lowndes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Cougars their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Trinity Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Springwood at 4:00 p.m. on September 2. This will also be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
