Soccer Recap: Eagle Grove Comes Up Short

The Eagle Grove Eagles came up short against the Webster City Lynx on Thursday and fell 3-1. Eagle Grove have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eagle Grove's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-2. As for Webster City, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-8-2.

Coincidentally, Eagle Grove and Webster City will both be playing Clear Lake the next time they take the pitch. The Lynx will host the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
