Westminster Schools of Augusta is 6-1 against Fox Creek since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fox Creek's six-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They took down Pelion 46-28. The victory was just what Fox Creek needed coming off of a 73-6 defeat in their prior contest.

Fox Creek found their leader in underclassman Maya Kryshtalowych, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Kryshtalowych has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jada Jennings, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

The victory was the third in a row for Westminster Schools of Augusta, bringing their record for this year to 10-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 20.67 points. As for Fox Creek, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11.

Thursday's contest is shaping up to be a scrappy game: Westminster Schools of Augusta have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 37.5 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Fox Creek, though, as they've been averaging only 32.4 rebounds per game. Given Westminster Schools of Augusta's sizeable advantage in that area, Fox Creek will need to find a way to close that gap.
