William Leahy turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Wednesday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Pinecrest back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Leahy also tossed no walks, which is notable because Heritage is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 4-5 otherwise.

Coming up, Leahy and Heritage will venture away from home to face off against Knightdale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage is a perfect 10-0 against Knightdale going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
