Soccer Game Preview: Unioto vs. Minford

The Unioto Shermans will face off against the Minford Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Minford will be up against a hot Unioto squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Shermans' defense stepped up to hand Westfall a 3-0 shutout on Monday.

Aidyn Danison and Sophie Hanes scored all three of Unioto's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Minford made sure to put some goals up on the board against Waverly on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 4-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Minford's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Unioto's win bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Minford, they now have a winning record of 6-5-3.
