Volleyball Recap: Southwestern Comes Up Short

The Southwestern Warriors came up short against the Trinity Christian Academy Titans on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Southwestern ultimately came up short, they really made Trinity Christian Academy work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 27-29, 25-14, 25-14.

Southwestern's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Southwestern will head out to face off against Mercer County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to take on George Rogers Clark at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
