Football Game Preview: High Point Central Bison vs. Lexington Senior Yellowjackets + How To Watch

The High Point Central Bison will head out to square off against the Lexington Senior Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. High Point Central's offense has struggled lately (they haven't scored a point in eight consecutive games), something the team is no doubt ready to change.

High Point Central is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Randleman on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bison had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 389th, while the Tigers are ranked 149th).

Meanwhile, Lexington Senior gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 21-13 win over Montgomery Central. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Yellowjackets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

A big part of Lexington Senior's win came down to the chemistry between Jaiden Summers and his top target Kamari McDonald. Summers threw for 232 yards and a pair of touchdowns while McDonald picked up 131 receiving yards and two TDs. Those 131 receiving yards gave McDonald a new career-high.

The victory got Lexington Senior back to even at 4-4. As for High Point Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
