Soccer Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood managed to slip by Dakota Ridge the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lakewood Tigers lost 4-0 to the Dakota Ridge Eagles on Wednesday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Lakewood now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dakota Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakewood will square off against Green Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Green Mountain will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lakewood surely won't give up without a fight. Dakota Ridge will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on D'Evelyn at 5:00 p.m. on March 26th.
