Charlotte Catholic entered their tilt with Rocky River on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Rocky River Ravens by a score of 45-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-36 back in January.

Charlotte Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaitlyn Farrell, who posted five points along with nine boards and five assists. Those nine rebounds gave Farrell a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maggie Kernodle, who had 14 points and three steals.

Farrell wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Charlotte Catholic was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rocky River only posted four assists.

Loss or not, Rocky River got some senior leadership from Camille Montgomery and Tristin Jarrett. Montgomery earned 16 points in addition to six boards and three steals, while Jarrett dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Montgomery is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lundyn Spears, who scored two points along with six boards and three steals.

Charlotte Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Rocky River, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Charlotte Catholic Cougars duke it out with the Garinger Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rocky River, they will take on Butler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Butler is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.9 points per game this season.
