Spirit Lake had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Unity Christian Knights. The Indians have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Spirit Lake's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Unity Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Spirit Lake will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Lyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Unity Christian, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Rock Valley on the 4th.
