Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Christian Couriers vs. Hamilton Marines

Having just played yesterday, the Clinton Christian Couriers will head out on the road to face off against the Hamilton Marines at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Monday, Clinton Christian was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 51-50 to Community Baptist Christian. The Couriers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clinton Christian might have lost, but man, Anthony Snyder was a machine: he went 8 for 15 on his way to 17 points and five boards. Snyder is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ethan Ramer, who went 6 of 8 en route to 12 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 76-39 loss at the hands of Bethany Christian.

Clinton Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Clinton Christian took their win against Hamilton when the teams last played back in November of 2014 by a conclusive 57-34. In that contest, Clinton Christian amassed a halftime lead of 31-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
