Soccer Recap: Nash Central Comes Up Short

Nash Central lost against Wake Prep Academy on October 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Guardians, falling 10-1. While losing is never fun, Nash Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 582nd, while Wake Prep Academy are ranked 217th).

Nash Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Wake Prep Academy, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Nash Central is set to challenge their familiar foe American Leadership Academy-Johnston at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Wake Prep Academy will face off against rival Louisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
