Soccer Game Preview: Jonesboro vs. Little Rock Southwest

The Jonesboro Hurricane will take on the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Jonesboro and three for Little Rock Southwest.

Jonesboro managed to keep up with Collierville until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Jonesboro came up short against Collierville, falling 4-1.

Little Rock Southwest had taken North Little Rock down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. Little Rock Southwest took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Little Rock.

Little Rock Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Jonesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Jonesboro took their victory against Little Rock Southwest in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Does Jonesboro have another victory up their sleeve, or will Little Rock Southwest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
