Soccer Game Preview: Chaparral vs. Castle View

The Chaparral Wolverines will head out on the road to square off against the Castle View Sabercats at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Chaparral had taken Ponderosa down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Highlands Ranch kept up with Castle View until halftime on Monday, but afterwards: not so much. The Sabercats blew past the Falcons 3-0. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Castle View's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Highlands Ranch are ranked 85th).

Chaparral's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4-1. As for Castle View, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2-2.
