Basketball Game Preview: George Washington Patriots vs. Parkersburg Big Reds

The George Washington Patriots will face off against the Parkersburg Big Reds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with George Washington sitting on nine straight victories and Parkersburg on four.

On Wednesday, George Washington didn't have too much trouble with Woodrow Wilson as they won 62-47.

Meanwhile, Parkersburg humbled Capital with an 81-52 victory. The Big Reds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 29 points or more this season.

George Washington's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Parkersburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
