After compiling data since 2004, we have come up with the 20 best high school football programs in New Hampshire.

It has been 10 years now that MaxPreps has put out football computer rankings, presented by the Army National Guard.
That's plenty of time to come up with a solid list of which programs have been the most dominant during the MaxPreps era.
For the purpose of the rankings, each team will be awarded points based off where it finished in the computer rankings after each season. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall it receives 25 points. If the team finished No. 25 overall, it would get one point. A team also receives 30 points for winning a state title and 15 for being the runner-up.

1. Bishop Guertin (Nashua) - 434 pointsOverall record: 97-18
The Cardinals racked up seven Div. II titles and nine Top 10 finishes, solidifying them as the state's most dominant team.
2. Plymouth - 432Overall record: 98-10
Plymouth has finished in the Top 25 10 times, compiling seven state championships along the way.
3. Pinkerton (Derry) - 414Overall record: 91-27
Pinkerton lays claim to four Div. I state championship victories, as well as seven Top 5 finishes.
4. Exeter - 314Overall record: 85-27
Exeter has won three state titles and finished No. 1 overall twice.
5. Souhegan (Amherst) - 282Overall record: 86-25
The Sabers have compiled eight Top 20 finishes and four Div. III state titles.
6. Portsmouth - 228Overall record: 67-42
Portsmouth has finished in the Top 25 seven times, winning two state championships along the way.
7. Trinity (Manchester) - 213Overall record: 61-44
The Pioneers have two state titles to go along with their six Top 15 finishes.
8. St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover) - 205Overall record: 67-34
Aquinas has finished in the Top 25 nine times, claiming two state championships in the process.
9. Manchester Central (Manchester) - 201Overall record: 73-35
An undefeated season in 2004 gave the Little Green a state title and one of their 10 Top 25 finishes.
10. Laconia - 196Overall record: 66-35
The Sachems have captured one Div. IV state title and finished in the Top 25 eight times.
11. Salem - 188Overall record: 62-49
Salem has notched nine Top 25 finishes, winning one state title in the process.
12. Nashua South (Nashua) - 170Overall record: 67-48-1
The Purple Panthers lay claim to a Div. I state championship and eight Top 25 finishes.
12. Winnacunnet (Hampton) - 170Overall record: 64-44-1
Winnacunnet has recorded eight Top 25 finishes, a state title, and three runner-up finishes.
14. Hanover - 155Overall record: 59-39
The Marauders have won the Div. IV state championship twice, while also notching five Top 25 finishes.
15. Bishop Brady (Concord) - 143Overall record: 63-36
Two undefeated seasons have helped Bishop Brady lay claim to two Div. V state titles.
16. Pelham - 142Overall record: 63-37
Pelham has won two Div. V state championships and finished as the runner-up once.
17. Kearsarge (North Sutton) - 116Overall record: 63-35
Kearsarge has finished in the Top 25 eight times, capturing one state title along the way.
18. Franklin - 112Overall record: 60-40
The Tornadoes have been in four state championship games since 2004, winning twice and finishing as the runner-up twice.
19. Nashua North (Nashua) - 104Overall record: 44-63
The Titans have two runner-up finishes as well as seven Top 25 finishes.

Somersworth has finished as the runner-up twice, as well as recording five Top 25 finishes.
