Soccer Recap: Irvin Takes a Loss

Irvin lost against Riverside back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Irvin Rockets fell 2-0 to the Riverside Rangers. The Rockets just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Irvin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Riverside, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Irvin will square off against Fabens at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Irvin is facing Fabens at the right time seeing as Fabens is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Riverside, they will challenge Harmony Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
