Basketball Game Preview: Waite Indians vs. North Central Eagles

The Waite Indians will head out to challenge the North Central Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither Waite nor North Central posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Waite is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Lima Senior on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Waite was dealt a 67-11 defeat at the hands of Lima Senior. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 742nd, while the Spartans are ranked 203rd).

Meanwhile, North Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 34-19 fall against Pettisville.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Waite, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
