Basketball Recap: Central Columbia Takes a Loss

Central Columbia played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Danville Ironmen, falling 61-36. The Bluejays were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ironmen earlier this season, when they won 45-41.

Danville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Morrison out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds gave Morrison a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Daniel Walker, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

Central Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Danville, their record is now 13-4.

Central Columbia has already played their next matchup, a 51-47 loss against Mount Carmel on the 31st. As for Danville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-44 win against Lewisburg on the 31st.
