Softball Recap: Richmond Hill Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Richmond Hill finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Jamaica Beavers, falling 16-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

Richmond Hill's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Jamaica, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Richmond Hill will welcome Townsend Harris at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Jamaica, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Metropolitan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
