Baseball Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

River Valley lost against Nevada Union on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The River Valley Falcons lost 13-1 to the Nevada Union Miners. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

River Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ELOY SAINZ, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that SAINZ hit this season.

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Nevada Union, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-1.

While River Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
