After a string of three wins, Antietam's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Brandywine Heights Area Bullets, falling 3-0. If the Mountaineers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bullets when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-7.

Antietam lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brayden Yelk, who had 15 assists and three digs. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more assists the last four times he's played.

Antietam's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Brandywine Heights Area, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antietam will venture away from home to face off against Schuylkill Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brandywine Heights Area, they will square off against Northern Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
