Softball Recap: St. Thomas More Comes Up Short

St. Thomas More was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Martin Luther Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 16-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

St. Thomas More's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Martin Luther, they pushed their record up to 3-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas More will take on Milwaukee Reagan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Huskies have averaged an impressive 12.1 runs per game this season. As for Martin Luther, they will challenge Greenfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans are facing the Hustlin' Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hustlin' Hawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
