Softball Recap: Three Forks Sets Scoring Season-High Against Powell County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Three Forks). Everything went their way against the Powell County Wardens on Tuesday as they made off with a 25-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Wardens: they've now won six in a row.

Kinley Feliciano made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Feliciano was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kameryn Rios, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, two RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jadyn Iddings, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Three Forks always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .743. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Three Forks' win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Powell County, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Three Forks will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wardens: the pair will be back at it again later today.
