Hillary, who is 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, also considered Boston College, Stanford and Illinois. He also had other offers from Big Ten, Big East and Mid-American Conference programs.
It goes without saying Wisconsin continues to make a strong impression in Southwest Ohio in recruiting this season.
Hillary is the third Cincinnati-area player to pledge a commitment to the Badgers this fall.
Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati) senior defensive end
Jesse Hayes and
Colerain (Cincinnati) senior fullback
Trayion Durham also committted to the Badgers.
Trotwood-Madison senior wide receiver
Michael Jordan also committed to the Big Ten program this fall.
Hillary has been a versatile threat for Sycamore the past couple of years. He has played defensive back, running back, wide receiver and made an impact on special teams as a returner.
"Hillary has great upside because of his bigger frame in the secondary to go along with his quickness and strength," said Mark Porter, director of ScoutingOhio.com. "In fact, Hillary might be the biggest Division I secondary player in Ohio. Hillary has been a playmaker for the (Aviators) and will continue to develop as a Badger."
Hillary is the son of former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ira Hillary, who played in the mid-1980s.
