Recap: Kings Christian Crusaders vs. Alpaugh Buffalos
The Kings Christian Crusaders stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Alpaugh, posting a 84-48 victory on the road. Winning may never get old, but Kings Christian sure is getting used to it with their 17th in a row.
Ronnie Roche was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-11 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 33 points and ten rebounds. Roche is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Brouwer, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Kings Christian pushed their record up to 17-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.33 points. As for Alpaugh, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.
Kings Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Strathmore at 4:30 p.m. on January 13th. Strathmore has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 293 points over their last five matches. As for Alpaugh, they will head out on the road to face off against Laton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Laton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday.
