Baseball Recap: Zavalla Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Zavalla and Brookeland had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles lost 15-1 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on April 4th.

Zavalla's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Brookeland, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Zavalla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brookeland, they will venture away from home to face off against Hemphill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
