Bernalillo made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,746 from 13,194. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 26-0 victory over Capital last week.
Santa Fe's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Taylor Cherwinski threw for 44 and one touchdown and Marcus Alarid had 38 yards receiving. On the ground Alarid chipped in 16 yards. Isaiah Taylor helped Santa Fe's passing attack out by catching one ball for three yards.
Santa Fe's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Demons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jordan Booth - Homer has thrown for 406 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Daniel Jacquez has eight catches for 233 yards. Anthony Abeyta leads the league in rushing with 1027 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Los Alamos takes on the Jaguars. The Hilltoppers are in first place, while Capital is in fourth place.
Los Alamos led the league in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on Espanola Valley.
