The Kenesaw Blue Devils will challenge the Wood River Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kenesaw is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, Kenesaw lost to Bertrand at home by a 60-42 margin. The Blue Devils were down 47-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

The losing side was boosted by Adam Denkert, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 12 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Maddox Wagoner was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Meanwhile, Wood River came up short against Doniphan-Trumbull on Friday and fell 65-57.

Wood River's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Kenesaw, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Things could have been worse for Kenesaw, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-43 loss to Wood River in their previous matchup back in February of 2024.
