Grant Goodney put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Tuesday. He struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Goodney's effort led Iola over Richards and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
