If Verdugo Hills was riding high fresh off their 51-21 takedown of Chavez last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Verdugo Hills Dons lost 62-36 to the Flintridge Prep Wolves on Monday.

Despite the loss, Verdugo Hills still got an impressive performance from Jeffrey Moran, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Charles Palacios, who had four points and five boards.

Verdugo Hills' loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Flintridge Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.
