Volleyball Recap: Bishop Neumann's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bishop Neumann had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the St. Cecilia Bluehawks by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cavaliers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Bishop Neumann found their leader in freshman Madison Wiese, who had six digs and two aces.

Bishop Neumann's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for St. Cecilia, they moved to 20-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Bishop Neumann will head out to take on Norfolk/Norfolk Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Cecilia, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Scotus at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
