Volleyball Recap: Panorama Takes a Loss

Panorama entered their matchup against Sylmar on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Panorama took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sylmar. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on March 3rd.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Sylmar scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Panorama's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Sylmar, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panorama will host Arleta at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sylmar, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Grant at 4:30 p.m.
