Soccer Game Preview: Kamiak vs. Shorewood

The Kamiak Knights are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on the Shorewood Stormrays at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kamiak is headed out to face Shorewood after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Kamiak came out on top against Shorecrest by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Shorewood kept a clean sheet against Inglemoor on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Stormrays were the better team in the second half.

They hit Inglemoor with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Meiron Bereket, Nikola Genadiev, and Bobby Lamb.

Kamiak came out on top in a nail-biter against Shorewood when the teams last played back in April of 2021, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kamiak since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
