After flying high against Cactus last Friday, Notre Dame Prep came back down to earth. The Saints fell 68-59 to the Mountain Pointe Pride on Monday. The loss put an end to the Saints' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Notre Dame Prep fell to 2-1. As for Mountain Pointe, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame Prep will take on Salpointe Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain Pointe, they will head out to challenge Corona del Sol at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pride will be up against the Aztecs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
