Elberta had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Williamson Lions as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Elberta's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games.
