The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Boulder Creek nor Westwood made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Jaguars won by a run and slipped past the Warriors 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jaguars have posted since February 27th.

Boulder Creek's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7. As for Westwood, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Boulder Creek will square off against Mountain Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars are facing the Mountain Lions at the right time seeing as the Mountain Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Westwood, they will face off against Valley Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
