Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bonanza). They had just enough and edged out the Illinois Valley Cougars 14-13. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-6 on Tuesday.

The win made it two in a row for Bonanza and bumps their season record up to 4-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Illinois Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

Coming up, Bonanza will take on Riddle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Illinois Valley, they will head out to take on Bandon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
