St. Johns Country Day extended their postseason success on Thursday against St. Joseph Academy. They came out on top against the Flashes by a score of 4-1. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

St. Johns Country Day got a great performance from Ethan Bissell as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Bissell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, St. Johns Country Day's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was TJ Sunderhaus, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

St. Johns Country Day's record is now 19-8. As for St. Joseph Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 19-7-1.

As of now, neither St. Johns Country Day nor the Flashes have any future games scheduled.
