East Central waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 49-0 win over the Greensburg Pirates. East Central found their leader in underclassman Ryan Minges, who rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Minges' longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Ethan Feldkamp was in the mix as well, providing East Central with two touchdowns.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, East Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 355 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.

East Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Greensburg, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
East Central will look to defend their home field on Friday against Roncalli at 7:30 p.m. East Central's defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so Roncalli's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Greensburg, they will head out to challenge Rushville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
