Preview: Modesto Christian Crusaders vs. Lodi Flames
Modesto Christian is 10-0 against Lodi since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Modesto Christian Crusaders will look to defend their home court against the Lodi Flames at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Modesto Christian can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They blew past Tokay 88-51 at home. The victory was nothing new for Modesto Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.
Modesto Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Marcus Washington out in front who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Bernard, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lodi beat West 48-44 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lodi.
Modesto Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Lodi, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
Everything went Modesto Christian's way against Lodi in their previous meeting on January 4th as Modesto Christian made off with a 64-42 win. Will Modesto Christian repeat their success, or does Lodi have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
