Basketball Game Preview: Madison Blue Streaks vs. Normandy Invaders

The Madison Blue Streaks and the Normandy Invaders will round out the year against one another at at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Madison's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Normandy has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Madison is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since February 22nd on Saturday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Howland an easy 70-47 win.

Meanwhile, Normandy ended up a good deal behind Lorain on Wednesday and lost 56-42. The contest marked the Invaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Madison's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Normandy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Madison was able to grind out a solid victory over Normandy when the teams last played back in January, winning 49-39. Will Madison repeat their success, or does Normandy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
