Volleyball Recap: Davenport Extends Winning Streak to Four

Davenport had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Lake Region Thunder by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 2nd.

In the three sets Davenport was on fire: they won each by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 25-0.

Davenport pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lake Region, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Davenport will head out to take on Poinciana Christian Preparatory at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Region, they will face off against Bartow at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
