Volleyball Recap: Elbert County Comes Up Short

The Elbert County Blue Devils didn't have quite enough to beat the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes on Thursday and fell 2-1. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Elbert County's defeat dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Monroe Area, their win bumped their record up to 13-24.

Elbert County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monroe Area, they will face off against Morgan County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Purple Hurricanes surely won't give up without a fight.
