Football Game Preview: Stewartsville/Osborn vs. DeKalb

On Friday Stewartsville/Osborn will take on DeKalb at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Things haven't been easy for Stewartsville/Osborn, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 26-60 walloping at South Nodaway/Jefferson's hands. Stewartsville/Osborn's loss came about despite a quality game from junior Keaton Nelson, who caught passes for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, DeKalb came into their this week averaging 36.57 points per game, but DeKalb fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-52 to Mound City/Craig. The low total for DeKalb limited their streak of high-flying scores to three in a row.
