Sierra is 9-1 against Mitchell since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Sierra Stallions are taking a road trip to take on the Mitchell Marauders at 7:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Sierra and 40 for Mitchell dating back to last season.

On Saturday, Sierra came up short against Widefield and fell 60-53.

Meanwhile, Mitchell played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against The Classical Academy, falling 75-23. While losing is never fun, the Marauders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Titans are ranked 53rd).

Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Mitchell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.

Sierra didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Mitchell in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 64-59 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sierra since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
