Northeastern fell just short of Jordan by a score of 46-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Northeastern has suffered yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Northeastern lost on Monday, one person who can't be blamed is Jasmine Felton. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 70.5% of Northeastern's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sanai Alexander, who scored four points.
Northeastern has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Jordan, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7.

Hopefully East Chapel Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Friday.
